Eastgate Lanes first opened in Newton, Kansas, in 1961. The family-owned and operated bowling center has a rich history of providing great experiences for generations of area families.
The Nodland family recently bought the bowling center and look forward to continuing this great tradition. As you would expect, the Nodlands are a bowling family. Patriarch, Mitch has been bowling since the age of 10 and averages between 215-225, depending on the season. Mitch says his wife Carol likes bowling, but loves how it brings her family together.
The Nodland family includes;
Coty Nodland and his fiancé Megan. Coty recently bowled the front nine strikes for the first time, finishing with a 279. They live in Vancouver, Washington.
Cameron Nodland, his fiancé Samantha and their daughter Lunabelle.
Cameron is a two-handed bowler, has won several JBT titles and averages a 200.
They live in La Center, Vancouver Washington.
Brandon Nodland is an avid bowler. According to Mitch, he spends most of his time bowling or doing something related to bowling—watching tournaments, reading ball reviews, or hanging out in pro shops. In fact, he moved to Kansas to help operate the bowling center.
The Nodlands love bowling because it attracts all types of people. It brings together people that would have never had a chance to meet, if not for bowling. What are you waiting for? Come out to Eastgate Lanes and meet the Nodland family!
